The American World Service/Jobs  CorpsCongressional Proposal Provides educational inducements to volunteers who use one or two years of national service to benefit themselves and the nation.  

Uses federally funded  educational enhancements to build a robust corps.

The Kicker or Back-up American World Service/Jobs Corps Congressional Proposal.  Backup proposal that increases incentives to insure that at least a million Americans volunteers per year benefit the nation and raise Americans' understanding of their nation and the world.  Only implemented if national leadership fails to inspire one million AWSC volunteers for annual service.  

Provides cost Effective, Productive. Peaceful. Civilian National Service.

House Resolution 1807 of 1989 calling for the formation of an American Soviet Peace Corps. Proposed by Dwayne Hunn to the Marin Community Foundation for model funding.  Adapted by Congresswoman Boxer as HR 1807.  The AWSC is a needed expansion of what was proposed and needed in 1989.

The AWSC Congressional Proposal urges and pushes by example other nations to implement their own national service corps.
